This opportunity is a for an 8-month term beginning November 2026 until July 2027.

Responsibilities Assist in designing and implementing robust extract, transform, and load (ETL) and ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) processes Partner with cross-functional teams, including architects, data analysts and business users to create high-quality solutions Support data modelling initiatives to ensure data quality and accessibility Maintain and ensure data quality, integrity, security and consistency across multiple data sources and platforms Provide technical support and troubleshooting for database, pipeline and integrations issues where and when needed Monitor platform performance and optimize costs to ensure efficiency and scalability Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences and contribute to process improvements Manage tasks independently while thriving in a collaborative environment and provide support to team members when needed Develop a comprehensive understanding of MNP’s services, business models, and industry context to align data solutions effectively Skills and Experience 4+ years in Data Engineering, ETL development, or Business Intelligence development roles Strong expertise in working with both structured and semi-structured data formats Proficient in Python (PySpark) for data engineering and data transformation tasks Practical experience working with any notebook-based data engineering environment, such as Microsoft Fabric notebooks, Azure Synapse Analytics notebooks, Jupyter Notebooks, or other widely used enterprise or cloud-based data notebooks Strong demonstrated knowledge of SQL and database architecture patterns, including data warehousing, non-relational databases and medallion architecture concepts Robust critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality solutions Experience in the accounting and professional services industry is an asset
