The role You’ll act for lenders, trustees, receivers and other creditors on a mix of insolvency, restructuring, debt recovery and enforcement matters. Expect real courtroom time, files you run yourself, and close work with colleagues in related practice groups.ResponsibilitiesHandle debt recovery, enforcement and collection files for financial institutions and other creditorsAct on bankruptcies, receiverships, proposals and CCAA restructuringsAppear in court on motions, applications and other proceedingsDraft pleadings, court materials, settlement documents and insolvency agreementsNegotiate on behalf of clients to achieve practical, results-driven outcomesWork with lawyers in insolvency, corporate and real estateQualifications5+ years of experience in insolvency, restructuring, creditors’ rights, debt recovery,
