Apply surgical nursing expertise as a full-time Registered Nurse with Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre in Northwestern Ontario. Support complex patients through adaptable, evidence-informed care.

Reporting to the Nursing Resource Team Manager, you will work within a matrix structure with Surgical Unit Managers. You will provide quality nursing care to complex patient populations alongside a multidisciplinary healthcare team. The position supports competencies across diverse patient care areas while following College of Nurses of Ontario standards, patient and family centred care, and hospital policies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide quality nursing care to complex patient populations
- Practice within College of Nurses of Ontario standards
- Use the Nursing Process for individualized care planning




- Recognize abnormal patient responses and take appropriate action
- Manage multiple nursing interventions simultaneously

Requirements:

- Current Registered Nurse registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- Strong interprofessional and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate and consult when patients become unstable
- Commitment to patient and family centred care
