Non ferrous metal receiving and forklift operation define this full time position at American Iron & Metal in Timmins. Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
As a Non Ferrous Receiver, you will work under the Site Manager’s supervision at the Timmins location. The position focuses on receiving, sorting, and organizing metals, maintaining premises, supporting customers, and tracking material through RECY. Crane operating experience and metal recycling experience are relevant to this work.
Key Responsibilities: Receive, sort, and organize different types of metals
Cover scales and weigh trucks when required
Track material using the RECY system
Maintain premises and keep equipment in positive condition
Provide customer service and operate forklifts as required
Requirements: Good computer skills for workplace systems
Experience operating a crane
Metal recycling experience considered an asset
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather
Good physical fitness and ability to work as a team
Bring metal handling, equipment operation, and customer service skills to American Iron & Metal’s Timmins receiving operations.
