This security role supports campus safety by enforcing provincial, municipal, and college requirements. You will operate control room equipment, control site access, and report hazards or breaches. The position suits candidates with security experience, robust communication, and conflict de-escalation skills.
Key Responsibilities: Enforce provincial, municipal, and college policies
Monitor CCTV systems and control room equipment
Control access to campus sites
Report hazards and security breaches
Respond to medical, fire, and crisis incidents
Requirements: Minimum one year of security experience
Valid Ontario Security License and First Aid certification
Level C CPR with AED certification
Excellent communication and de-escalation skills
Ontario driver’s license, personal vehicle, and regional commuting ability
Bring tactical security experience, CCTV awareness, and sound judgment to campus protection across Barrie, Orillia, and Simcoe.
