Lead building maintenance and facility operations at Avalon Care Centre in Orangeville, Ontario, with solid attention to detail and safety knowledge. This permanent, part-time position is onsite for 30 hours weekly.
As Co-Environmental Services Manager, you will collaborate with the Environmental Services Manager under the Executive Director. The work spans housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, inventory management, repairs, sanitation, waste management, and facility preparation. You will support smooth operations and resident wellness while maintaining fiscally responsible resource use.
Key Responsibilities: Perform routine building and property maintenance
Complete preventative maintenance and coordinate major repairs
Manage inventories and facility waste




Document maintenance activities and conduct facility audits
Operate equipment safely and report hazards promptly
Requirements: Managerial or supervisory experience preferred
One year of maintenance-related work experience preferred
Perform minor caulking, patching, and painting repairs
Working knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act
Valid driver’s license and strong attention to detail
Bring maintenance leadership, safety awareness, and operational coordination to Jarlette Health Services at Avalon Care Centre.
