Job Title: General Laborer

Location: Saint John, New Brunswick
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Shift: Monday to Friday, (on-call shifts)9am-5pm

Job Description

We are seeking reliable and physically fit individuals to assist with unloading shipping containers and organizing merchandise in designated areas. This is ideal for individuals seeking day part time work or students available for day shifts. This involves shifts two to three days per week between Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

- Manually unload items from shipping containers and place them in designated areas or onto skids.
- Use pallet jacks to move and put away materials as required.
- Perform heavy lifting of items weighing approximately 50-70 lbs. Heavier items must be lifted with assistance from team members.




- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Break down cardboard boxes and dispose of packaging materials as needed.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

- Must be comfortable performing physically demanding work involving repetitive lifting and handling of heavy items.
- Items may be dirty or dusty due to shipping and storage conditions. Appropriate work clothing and footwear are recommended.
- Must be able to work safely and cooperatively as part of a team.
- Steel toe/safety shoes or boots required
