Represent FortisBC at community events across British Columbia using public speaking and customer communication skills. This is a part-time temporary assignment.
The Street Team represents FortisBC at community and special events throughout B.C. You will promote company programs, explain energy conservation, rebate programs, safety, and initiatives supporting climate goals. The position also requires event preparation, inquiry handling, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities: Represent FortisBC at community and special events
Promote company programs and energy solutions
Educate the public about conservation and rebates
Set up tents, displays, booths, and collateral safely
Complete event reports and summaries
Requirements: Grade 12 high school completion
At least three months customer service experience
Outgoing, personable, and positive attitude
Solid oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills
Valid unrestricted British Columbia driver’s license
Bring public speaking, customer service, and event representation skills to FortisBC communities throughout British Columbia.
