The Admissions Coordinator manages prospective client inquiries from initial contact through admission. Working with nursing, clinical, medical, and operational colleagues, this role assesses treatment needs, coordinates documentation, and supports secure transitions into care. Success requires communication, judgment, organization, and emotional intelligence.
Key Responsibilities: Respond to client, family, and referral-source admission inquiries
Conduct pre-admission screening and comprehensive assessments
Coordinate admission dates, documentation, consents, and logistics
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on admission readiness




Maintain accurate records, waiting lists, and follow-up
Requirements: Mental health, substance use, health care, or social services experience preferred
Regulated health care degree or diploma preferred
Strong assessment, interviewing, communication, and customer service skills
Ability to work independently within an interdisciplinary team
Proficiency with electronic health records, databases, and Microsoft Office preferred
Use compassionate assessment, precise documentation, and collaborative coordination to guide prospective clients into EHN Canada treatment programs.
