Pay rate range: $60.00 - $ 64.00 Negotiable based upon years of experience About the Role We are seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) with deep Java and Python technology expertise to work directly with our Fintech clients in the Spread Products space.

This is a hybrid engineering/customer-facing role for someone who can architect, build, and deploy production-grade solutions on-site or in close collaboration with client trading, risk, and operations teams while owning the full technical delivery lifecycle from discovery to production hardening.

The ideal candidate is already an experienced Full-Stack/Backend Architect (Java and/or Python) who thrives in ambiguous, fast-paced client environments, can rapidly translate complex business requirements into working software, and is comfortable being the technical face of the engineering organization in front of customers.

Domain exposure to Financing and Securitization business is a plus, not a prerequisite.

Produce clear technical documentation and communicate complex architecture decisions to both engineering and non-technical business audiences.

Architecture & Development Architect and build scalable, resilient full-stack applications using Java (Spring Boot/Spring Framework, Microservices) and/or Python (FastAPI/Flask), tailored to enterprise financial workflows.

Leverage Python for rapid prototyping, data analytics, pricing/risk calculations, and automation scripts where appropriate.

Apply strong data modeling and query optimization skills across Oracle Database, MS SQL Server, and MongoDB.

Ensure solutions are built with enterprise-grade security, auditability, and regulatory compliance across both Java and Python codebases.

Expert-level proficiency in Java (Core Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, REST/gRPC APIs) and/or strong production experience in Python (FastAPI/Flask, data processing libraries).

Ability to work across both Java and Python codebases, or demonstrated ability to ramp up quickly on the second language.

Hands-on experience with Tekton/Open

Shift Pipelines and Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline design and management.

Strong database expertise across Oracle Database, MS SQL Server, and MongoDB, including performance tuning and schema design.

Demonstrated knowledge of Dev

Ops practices: containerization (Docker/Open

Shift/Kubernetes), infrastructure as code, and cloud deployment (AWS/Azure/GCP at least one).

Excellent communication, technical writing, and stakeholder management skills; comfortable working directly with business stakeholders.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Qualifications Domain knowledge of Fintech, Capital Markets, or Spread Products specifically Securitization (ABS, MBS).

Prior experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Consultant embedded within financial institutions.

Experience using Python for quantitative analytics, pricing models, or ML-driven risk tooling alongside a Java-based production stack.
