Support Waterloo Region students as a Designated Early Childhood Educator in a 1.0 FTE extended-day afternoon long-term occasional assignment.
The Waterloo Region District School Board is seeking a DECE for an extended-day afternoon assignment. Applicants must hold Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators registration in valuable standing and Standard First Aid with CPR Level C/AED. Successful candidates will join the WRDSB Designated Early Childhood Educator Supply List. The term may change with appropriate notice.
Key Responsibilities: Complete the Physical Demands Test after selection
Submit required application documents through Apply to Education
Provide original Criminal Record Check before employment begins
Complete annual offence declarations through the WRDSB staff portal




Maintain required vulnerable sector screening documentation
Requirements: Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators registration in good standing
Standard First Aid with CPR Level C/AED certification
Acceptable Criminal Record Check including vulnerable sector screening
Valid first aid and CPR certificate or registered training update
Willingness to complete the required Physical Demands Test
Bring DECE registration, current first aid certification, and required screening documents to this WRDSB extended-day assignment.
