Lead venture validation and commercial strategy as a Venture Associate at R-LABS, working full time onsite in downtown Toronto.
Reporting to the Managing Director, Ventures, this senior operator role helps turn real estate challenges into scalable companies. You will work with Entrepreneurs-in-Residence, co-founders, and partner operators across housing, finance, operations, infrastructure, and adjacent verticals. Athena supports your AI-first research and validation work.
Key Responsibilities: Lead customer discovery and venture validation activities
Develop business models, pricing, and commercialization strategies
Build financial models, including unit economics and development pro-formas
Coordinate founders, teams, and resources across ventures




Use Athena to compress research, synthesis, and validation cycles
Requirements: Venture-building, founder, or early-stage operating experience
Experience with market research and customer problem validation
Ability to develop business models and commercialization strategies
Comfort with LLMs and agentic workflows
Real estate, proptech, construction, fintech, or infrastructure knowledge
Bring analytical judgment, commercial thinking, and AI-first execution to venture building at R-LABS in downtown Toronto.
