The work spans civil defense matters, including personal injury, trucking, construction defect, and qualified liability. You will develop strategy, handle discovery, and communicate with clients.
Key Responsibilities: Develop compelling strategies for complex civil defense matters
Manage court appearances, depositions, motions, and trials independently
Prepare cases through discovery, evaluation, mediation, and trial
Communicate professionally with clients and opposing counsel
Mentor junior attorneys and collaborate across experience levels
Requirements: Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school
Active Colorado Bar license
Two-plus years of insurance defense experience
One to eight years of solid litigation experience
Ability to manage caseloads from discovery through trial
Build deeper litigation responsibility through strategy, depositions, motion practice, client communication, and trial preparation at Tyson & Mendes.
