Paint and refine backgrounds within established art direction
Maintain consistency across scenes, environments, and sequences
Interpret direction with the Design team and Art Director




Incorporate feedback and revisions while meeting production schedules
Requirements: Experience developing color keys and painting animation backgrounds
Understanding of color theory, lighting, composition, perspective, and atmosphere
Portfolio showing strong color keys and painted backgrounds
Ability to maintain consistency within an established visual style
Solid detail, communication, collaboration, priority, and deadline skills
Bring background painting, color key development, and visual consistency skills to Bardel’s Vancouver-based animation production team.
