Working under the principal’s direction and classroom teacher’s instructional supervision, you will support students with specific needs or special education requirements. Key Responsibilities: Support students with physical, intellectual, behavioural, or learning difficulties
Provide assistance in special education and regular classroom settings
Respond to academic, physical, emotional, and hygienic needs




Contribute as a school team member to educational programming
Perform other assigned duties supporting students
Requirements: Secondary school diploma
Two year related Community college diploma or child related degree
Two years’ relevant experience working with children
Experience supporting diverse disabilities or learning difficulties
Availability throughout the term assignment’s start and end dates
Bring student support, communication, and relationship building skills to Educational Assistant work with OCSB learners in Ottawa classrooms.
