Own end-to-end purchasing for Olli Brands Inc., using supplier negotiation and MRP/ERP expertise in office at a GMP-track cannabis edibles manufacturer.
As Purchasing Specialist, you will convert weekly planned requirements into accurate purchase orders and secure supplier commitments. The role reports to the Operations Manager and works with Inventory Control, Production and Scheduling, Warehouse and Shipping, Quality, and Finance. Success depends on commercial confidence, administrative exactness, and disciplined buying against the published plan.
Key Responsibilities: Convert planned requirements into confirmed purchase orders
Maintain lead times, minimum quantities, and order multiples
Expedite, reschedule, and communicate slipping supplier dates
Negotiate prices, terms, service levels,



and renewals
Resolve receiving, quality, shipment, and invoice discrepancies
Requirements: Five or more years in manufacturing purchasing or procurement
Working knowledge of MRP/ERP purchasing and order lifecycles
Demonstrated supplier negotiation results with supporting evidence
Strong Excel skills and accurate open-order administration
Availability on-site five days weekly
