Program Rockwell ControlLogix and Aveva systems at BW Gold’s Blackwater Mine site on a two weeks on, two weeks off rotation.
Reporting to the Supervisor – Electrical & Instrumentation, the Process Control Specialist operates and improves site process control systems. The position supports maintenance, production, and engineering teams through troubleshooting, programming, and technical guidance. It also delivers minor improvement projects and maintains process control documentation.
Key Responsibilities: Program and operate process control systems across site
Support maintenance, production, and engineering teams frontline
Program and improve Rockwell ControlLogix and PLC systems
Program and improve the Aveva Plant SCADA system




Troubleshoot processing controls, drives, and instrumentation systems
Requirements: Three to five years’ electrical and process controls experience
Engineering degree or controls or instrumentation technical diploma
Understanding of instrumentation devices and PLC process controls
Experience with ControlLogix, Studio 5000, and RS Linx
Experience with TCPIP, Ethernet IP, and network systems
Apply process control programming, troubleshooting, and systems operations expertise at BW Gold’s Blackwater Mine site.
