Thales seeks an Aerospace Software Development Team Leader for 20 to 30 specialists, including architects and work package managers. You will guide critical embedded systems through development, implementation, and certification under DO-178C and DO-297. The position combines strategic and tactical leadership across engineering, quality, and program management.
Key Responsibilities: Plan activities supporting development standards, milestones, scope, and costs
Manage software and hardware resources, budgets, and required skills
Guide professional development and monitor individual progress
Present development processes to certification authorities
Ensure compliance with DO-178B/C, DO-254, DO-297, DO-330, and DO-331
Requirements: University degree in electrical or software engineering
Ten years of embedded critical system development experience
Knowledge and application of DO-178
Experience planning engineering work and managing human resources
French and English verbal and written communication skills
Apply embedded systems leadership, certification knowledge, and resource management to advance Thales Avionics engineering programs internationally.
