Protect guests, associates, and company assets as a Security Officer with Niagara Casinos, supporting a 24/7 operation through midnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
This contract position focuses on public order, gaming-floor access, emergency assistance, and security reporting. You will inspect identification, screen bags, investigate incidents, and help manage guest safety. The work requires communication, de-escalation, and sound decisions.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain public order and enforce security and safety rules
Inspect identification and control gaming-floor access
Conduct bag checks for prohibited items
Investigate incidents and prepare detailed security reports
Assist emergencies, money escorts, and card destruction
Requirements: Related diploma or equivalent experience
Valid private security license, First Aid, and CPR C
Smart Serve Certificate and valid Ontario G license
Solid written, verbal, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills
Working knowledge of WHMIS and applicable safety legislation
Bring licensed security experience, tactful de-escalation, and detailed reporting skills to Niagara Casinos’ guest-safety operations.
