Keep The Queen’s Cue guest-ready as a Maintenance Technician in Stratford, using hands-on repairs and preventative maintenance. This is a full time opening team role.
Reporting to the Rooms Division Manager, you will maintain guest rooms, public spaces, event venues, the Boar’s Head Pub, and back-of-house areas. The work includes routine repairs, equipment troubleshooting, inspections, contractor support, and property upkeep. You will help protect guest experiences while supporting opening readiness.
Key Responsibilities: Complete daily walkthroughs across guest and operational areas
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance according to hotel standards
Complete minor plumbing, lighting, drywall, painting, and hardware repairs
Respond to guest and departmental maintenance requests promptly
Record work orders, inspections, issues, and maintenance activity
Requirements: Experience in general maintenance or building operations
Comfort using hand and power tools
Experience with routine repairs and basic troubleshooting
Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds
Availability for daytime, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
Bring practical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair skills to support The Queen’s Cue and Boar’s Head Pub in Stratford.
