Reporting to the Director of Care, this casual LPN delivers goal-directed, patient-focused care under provincial standards. The work includes assessments, care plans, documentation, medication administration, treatments, and coordination. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team supporting resident dignity and well-being.
Key Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care, medications, and treatments
Maintain resident assessments, care plans, and documentation
Coordinate care with physicians and service providers
Respond to condition changes and medical emergencies
Educate residents and families about care plans
Requirements: Current provincial or state Licensed Practical Nurse registration
Senior care or long-term care experience preferred
Current CPR and First Aid certification
Electronic documentation and Microsoft Office proficiency
Current Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain
Bring clinical knowledge, care coordination, and compassionate nursing practice to residents at AgeCare Mount Royal in Calgary.
