The Grocery Supervisor coaches and develops friendly, well-trained staff while supervising department operations. You will foster customer loyalty, fulfill customer needs, and support employee and customer engagement. The position also serves as the departmental go-to person when the Department Manager and Assistant are absent.
Key Responsibilities: Coach, train, motivate, and develop grocery department employees
Maintain clean, presentable work areas and company presentation standards
Monitor pricing, inventory controls, and weekly in-store specials
Run and analyze sales data reports for department performance
Oversee opening, closing, breaks, and departmental activities
Requirements: High School Diploma
Minimum 12 months of experience
Full knowledge of department operations and skills
Ability to work independently in a rapid-paced environment
