As a Funeral Assistant, you will interact directly with client families during their time of need. You will help maintain premier client family satisfaction through assistance, organization, and communication. The position includes service support, visitor greeting, pallbearer coordination, and parking assistance.
Key Responsibilities: Provide information and assistance to families entering the office
Assist with casketed deceased movement and related items
Prepare lobbies, chapels, restrooms, and reception areas
Assist families entering and leaving limousines
Greet visitors and coordinate pallbearers during services
Requirements: Valid driver's license in valuable standing
Lift thirty pounds and occasionally more than eighty pounds
Handle emotional situations with professionalism and compassion
Communicate effectively with families and community contacts
Read, write, and speak English fluently
Bring empathy, attention to detail, and dependable service coordination to families supported by Tubman Funeral Homes.
