Our premier distribution partner in Markham, ON is hiring an active Warehouse Associate with forklift experience. In this dynamic role, you will manage shipping and receiving, operate forklifts, process orders using inventory software, and maintain organized stock.

Position: Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator

Location: Markham, ON

Pay rate: $22/hr

Shift: 7:30 am to 4 pm, Mon-Fri

Responsibilities

Receive, verify, and log incoming shipments accurately into the warehouse management computer system.

Safely operate Counter Balance forklifts to unload freight, stage pallets, and consolidate material storage locations.

Pick, pack, weigh, and label outbound orders accurately while preparing bills of lading and shipping manifests.

Perform quality control checks on returned goods, assist with over-the-counter customer orders, and maintain clean work areas.

Administer basic preventative maintenance checks on warehouse equipment and vehicles to ensure strict safety compliance.

Qualifications

Mandatory Counter Balance forklift certification and demonstrated operational experience.

Proven background in warehouse receiving, picking, packing, and stock maintenance.





Physical capability to lift packages up to 50 lbs and wear steel‑toe CSA footwear.

Basic computer proficiency for entering receipts and navigating internal stock systems.

High School Diploma or equivalent; solid communication skills and safety‑first mindset.
