AgeCare seeks a Personal Support Worker to assist residents according to individualized care plans. The work includes observing residents, reporting findings, supporting bedside care, and maintaining sanitation. You will also follow Infection Prevention and Control policies while contributing to staff education and onboarding.
Key Responsibilities: Provide care according to established resident care plans
Observe residents and report findings to supervisors
Document resident care information as directed
Maintain secure and secure environments for residents
Follow Infection Prevention and Control policies
Requirements: Graduate of a Personal Support Worker certificate or diploma program
Meet Ministry of Training vocational standards
Meet National Association of Career Colleges standards
Know simple treatments and bedside care techniques
Understand sanitation and geriatric resident needs
Support AgeCare residents with care-plan monitoring, bedside assistance, documentation, and infection prevention practices.
