Operate dishwashing equipment and maintain clean kitchen areas as a Steward at Fairmont Royal York, working in office in Toronto five days weekly. Support banquet coffee preparation and follow hotel safety procedures while serving a historic luxury property.
This Steward position supports stewarding operations at Fairmont Royal York. You will complete dishwashing, organize dish room areas, maintain equipment, and uphold Fairmont Hotels and Resorts standards. The work requires written and spoken English, shift flexibility, physical capability, and attention to ECOSURE processes.
Key Responsibilities: Complete assigned stewarding tasks and maintain clean work areas
Operate and clean dishwashing machines and soaking tanks




Organize dish rooms and keep areas free from hazards
Complete dishwashing and general cleaning duties
Prepare banquet coffee and complete daily temperature logs
Requirements: Highly motivated individual with prior experience considered an asset
Understanding of written and spoken English
Flexibility with shift work hours
Ability to perform physically under pressure
Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment
