This Material Management Aide works in the Purchasing Department, distributing medical, surgical, environmental, laboratory, pharmaceutical, and stationery supplies. The position manages unit requirements accurately while following established quotas. Experience with automated inventory systems, Meditech, MS Outlook, and handheld terminals supports daily work. The role requires independent work, interpersonal skills, safe material handling, and commitment to workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities: Distribute medical and surgical supplies to designated areas
Deliver equipment and environmental supplies across all sites
Transport specimens,



pharmaceuticals, and stationery deliveries
Manage and replenish unit requirements according to established quotas
Support secure supply handling for patients and staff
Requirements: Grade 12 graduation or equivalent
Knowledge of medical and surgical supplies
Automated Inventory Management System experience
Ten-key data entry at required speed and accuracy
Valid driver’s license and Ministry of Transportation abstract
