Gordon Food Service seeks a Transit Driver for Sunday-to-Thursday night shifts starting at 6:00 p.m., subject to business needs. The driver transports loaded and empty trailers from distribution centers or point to point. This role supports accurate deliveries, equipment care, and customer communication.
Key Responsibilities: Transport loaded and empty trailers through night transit routes
Complete vehicle and equipment pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Monitor reefer temperatures and report mechanical issues promptly
Coordinate assignments and delivery performance with supervisors and dispatchers
Manage delivery paperwork, check-ins, credits, and pickups accurately
Requirements: Valid AZ driver’s license is required
Minimum two years of AZ driving experience
Clean commercial driver’s abstract
Ability to work wide-ranging weather, temperature, and road conditions
Ability to lift, push, and pull products
Use your AZ driving experience, safety focus, and attention to detail supporting Gordon Food Service transit operations.
