Nova Scotia Power seeks an Industrial Electrician for its Underground Team in Sackville, focused on electrical installation and troubleshooting. This is regular full-time employment.
Reporting to the Underground Supervisor, you will maintain and repair underground plant on the Transmission/Distribution System throughout the Territory. The work includes commissioning electrical equipment, supporting emergency restoration, and participating in planned or unplanned assignments. You will work within a safety-sensitive setting.
Key Responsibilities: Install, commission, maintain, and repair underground electrical plant
Troubleshoot electrical equipment across Transmission/Distribution systems
Assist emergency and storm-related power restoration
Travel throughout Nova Scotia and support other locations




Follow safety and environmental management processes
Requirements: Journeyman Industrial Electrician certification required
Minimum two years troubleshooting electrical equipment
Valid Nova Scotia Driver's License and two years driving experience
Ability to work at heights and within confined spaces
Willingness to participate in training and on-call rotation
Apply industrial electrical expertise, underground maintenance skills, and troubleshooting experience supporting Nova Scotia Power’s reliable Transmission/Distribution system.
