This Staff Pharmacist assists the Pharmacy Manager across pharmacy operations and provides patient-specific care. The position includes prescription processing, patient counseling, merchandise location, pharmaceutical storage, and regulatory compliance. You will help deliver eligible services, including medication reviews and injections.
Key Responsibilities: Assist the Pharmacy Manager with all pharmacy operations
Accept prescriptions and refill requests from patients, doctors, and hospitals
Fill prescriptions accurately, efficiently, and safely
Counsel patients on sold pharmaceutical products
Protect patient privacy and follow provincial regulations
Requirements: Pharmacist License required
Additional Prescribing Authorization available in Alberta
Ability to operate pharmacy registers and computer systems
Ability to maintain proper pharmaceutical product storage
Must be age 16 or older
Bring licensed pharmacy expertise, patient counseling, and prescription accuracy to Walmart’s Prince George pharmacy operations.
