About the role Elevate your mechanical expertise with Emterra Environmental as a 310T Mechanic. Support our waste management fleet through diagnostics and repairs in a safety-focused workplace. The position is in Woodstock, Newfoundland and Labrador. As a vital team member, you will diagnose and fix vehicles while ensuring operational efficiency. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills in both hydraulic and electrical systems. You will use company-provided tools while working to maintain a clean, organized workspace and support junior mechanics in their development. Utilize your mechanical skills to ensure the safety and efficiency of our fleet at Emterra Environmental.
Responsibilities Diagnose and repair vehicles within specifications
Troubleshoot and fix hydraulic and electrical systems
Test repaired equipment for performance accuracy
Maintain organized work orders for efficient operations
Foster communication with management regarding repairs
Requirements 310T or Red Seal License required
Valid G License (DZ preferred)
Experience with hydraulic/electrical systems preferred
Ability to lift 60 lbs and perform physical tasks
Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
