As a Staff Software Engineer, you will lead a major platform area through multiple teams and their leads. You will align staffing, delivery pace, product direction, and architecture. The work supports relationships, deals, and opportunities across the global entertainment industry. You will also help build an engineering organization where systems, processes, and structure are still forming.
Key Responsibilities: Own outcomes across one or more connected platform areas
Surface delivery, resourcing, scope, and technical risks early
Set roadmaps, sequencing, and architectural direction




Grow technical leads and hire engineers for teams
Shape shared architecture with engineering leadership and peers
Requirements: Experience leading outcomes through multiple teams or workstreams
Typically 15 or more years of software engineering experience
Deep proficiency in React, TypeScript, and Next.js
Backend experience with Node.js, REST, and gRPC
Experience with PostgreSQL, Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes
Bring platform ownership, technical depth, and deliberate architecture to WME’s internal entertainment systems and growing engineering organization.
