Hemlo Mining Corp. seeks an Underground Ventilation Technician for its integrated gold mining operation in Northwestern Ontario. The position requires underground mining experience, ventilation knowledge, and robust reporting skills. You will work with Mine Operations and Technical Services to maintain effective ventilation and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct routine underground ventilation surveys
Monitor air quality and environmental conditions
Support ventilation system management and maintenance
Compile weekly ventilation reports




Identify deficiencies and collaborate with site teams
Requirements: Five years of underground mining experience
Mining Engineering Technician Diploma, degree, or equivalent experience
Knowledge of airflow measurement and gas detection equipment
Familiarity with Deswik, Ventsim, or similar software
Valid Class G driver’s licence and strong communication skills
Use ventilation surveying, environmental monitoring, and technical reporting skills to support safe underground operations at Hemlo Mine near Marathon.
