Mitie seeks a Static Mechanical Engineer for maintenance or facilities management environments. You will maintain mechanical systems and water assets, including AHUs, FCUs, thermal wheels, booster sets, calorifiers, and water heaters. The work requires accurate reporting, safe practices, client communication, and IT-enabled workflows.
Key Responsibilities: Complete planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across building systems
Maintain plumbing, ventilation, heating, cooling, and water assets
Identify defects and complete inspection and remedial documentation




Respond to client queries with consistently high customer service
Follow permits, safe systems, and Health & Safety requirements
Requirements: Maintenance or facilities management experience
City & Guilds Level 2/3 mechanical qualification or equivalent
Understanding of Health & Safety legislation and safe working
Confidence using IT systems and mobile reporting devices
Ability to obtain MET Police SC Clearance
Apply mechanical maintenance, reporting, and safe working expertise across Mitie’s stable static site and public sector contract.
