Lead early learning programming as PLASP’s RECE Program Director at Mother Cabrini Catholic School in Etobicoke, Ontario. Supervise staff and support children’s well-being.

This Program Director oversees before and after school care for children up to 12 years. The work includes age-appropriate activities, administration, food planning, and staff leadership. Programs must follow CCEYA, HDLH, Ministry of Education standards, and PLASP guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Establish a safe, warm, and caring extended day setting
- Plan stimulating activities supporting children’s physical and social well-being
- Prepare nutritious breakfasts and snacks following Canada Food Guide guidelines
- Supervise, train, and appraise staff, volunteers, and placement students




- Manage registration, records, health monitoring, supplies, and program administration

Requirements:

- Minimum three years’ child care and community service experience
- ECE degree or diploma with RECE registration
- Knowledge of CCEYA and Ministry of Education licensing requirements
- Valid Standard First Aid Certificate with Level C CPR
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Criminal Reference Check and required immunizations
