The Assistant Director of Resident Care develops high-quality nursing services with the Executive Director. This position ensures compliance with legislation, policies, and standards while reflecting Yee Hong’s vision, strategic direction, and resident-centred approach. The work supports culturally appropriate senior care.
Key Responsibilities: Plan and develop high-quality nursing care services
Consult with the Executive Director on care planning
Ensure compliance with government legislation, policies, and standards
Reflect Yee Hong’s resident-centred approach in nursing services
Requirements: Registered Nurse with current Ontario nursing certificate
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent education and experience
Minimum four years nursing experience, including geriatric care
At least three years managerial or supervisory healthcare experience
Current CPR certificate and satisfactory vulnerable sector screening
Bring nursing leadership, regulatory knowledge, and resident-centred care expertise to Yee Hong’s senior care services.
