As Project Designer, you will support Aecon Utility Engineering’s electrical distribution work under the Team Lead, Design. Your work will include drawings, calculations, construction packages, reports, and coordination with clients, contractors, field staff, and stakeholders. The position supports safe, reliable utility infrastructure delivery.
Key Responsibilities: Complete code-compliant overhead and underground electrical design drawings
Prepare calculations, schedules, estimates, permits, and construction packages
Conduct pre-design inspections, worksite visits, and construction support




Prepare project status reports and technical client reports
Coordinate with clients, contractors, field staff, and stakeholders
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering
Three to five years designing overhead and underground distribution systems
Experience with AutoCAD; other utility software knowledge is an asset
Robust organization, communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
Valid G driver’s license and access to a vehicle
Use electrical distribution design, technical documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills to support Aecon projects from Toronto.
