Smith + Andersen seeks a Mechanical Project Manager for its Calgary office. You will develop engineering concepts, manage construction budgets, coordinate consultants, and review project deliverables. The position supports major Canadian building design projects through technical leadership and explicit client communication.
Key Responsibilities: Develop system engineering concepts and concept reports
Prepare calculations and select mechanical equipment
Coordinate architects, consultants, contractors, and internal disciplines
Review deliverables for completeness, accuracy, and quality




Manage contract administration, changes, and project queries
Requirements: Five or more years’ mechanical building services experience
Current P.Eng. or eligibility with APEGA
Advanced provincial building code and standards knowledge
Leadership, communication, and independent working abilities
Experience coordinating major projects with consultants and contractors
Bring mechanical engineering leadership, technical coordination, and client communication to Smith + Andersen’s Calgary project teams.
