Provide specialty nursing care at Queen Elizabeth Hospital as a Registered Nurse, using critical thinking and evidence-based practice. This is a full time temporary assignment in Charlottetown.
Health PEI seeks a Registered Nurse for Specialty Inpatient and Outpatient Services in the Operating Room. You will coordinate safe, quality care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The position requires therapeutic communication, specialty competencies, and proficiency with patient-care equipment.
Key Responsibilities: Assess patients and continuously analyze monitoring and diagnostic data
Administer medications and monitor vital signs
Develop individualized care plans with patients and families




Respond to emergencies using nursing standards and protocols
Coordinate nursing and multidisciplinary care for assigned patients
Requirements: Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or Diploma with extensive experience
One to three years of nursing experience
Active or eligible Prince Edward Island nursing registration
Obtain and maintain education in the clinical specialty
Maintain specialty competencies and equipment proficiency
Bring critical care judgment, patient advocacy, and specialty nursing expertise to Health PEI’s Operating Room team.
