This Engineer Design role translates customer requirements into functional system designs for proposals. Responsibilities include architectural drawings, equipment lists, pricing support, and post-sales consultation. The position also supports installation teams and addresses engineering inquiries.
Key Responsibilities: Translate customer requirements into functional system designs
Develop RCP, floor plan, and acoustical models
Generate system descriptions, block diagrams, and equipment lists
Identify cabling, materials, pricing, and labor estimates
Provide engineering support during project installation
Requirements: Minimum high school diploma
Formal electronics education preferred
At least five years of AV experience preferred
One to two years AV experience plus four-year degree
AMX and Crestron programming and troubleshooting ability
Apply audiovisual design, engineering calculations, and customer communication skills to support complete system proposals and installations.
