School District 71 seeks an Online Learning Support Teacher for students with low incidence challenges, behavioural or mental health issues, and learning disabilities. The teacher supports inclusion, develops Individual Education Plans and Learning Plans, and provides direct remedial instruction. Collaboration with online teachers, home facilitators, and external support people is central to student success.
Key Responsibilities: Support students across the special needs spectrum
Assist teachers with Individual Education Plans
Adapt instructional content and materials




Provide direct remedial instruction
Collaborate with multidisciplinary support teams
Requirements: Degree in Special Education preferred
Successful teaching experience and K-12 curriculum understanding
Ability to administer Level B assessments
Experience preparing adapted and modified curriculum
Knowledge of online learning platforms, policies, and procedures
Bring special education, assessment, and online collaboration skills to support inclusive learning throughout School District 71.
