As Lead AI Backend Engineer, you will set architecture for an agent-powered platform serving digital identity and security needs. You will guide high-throughput APIs, multi-agent orchestration, retrieval-augmented generation, and model-provider integrations. The work spans reliability, quality, latency, cost, and security targets.
Key Responsibilities: Set architecture for agent-powered platforms and microservice patterns
Drive .NET, C#, Python, FastAPI, SQLModel, and Semantic Kernel APIs
Lead multi-agent handoff, sequential, parallel, and supervisor orchestration
Guide retrieval-augmented generation with vector and hybrid search




Partner with Product and Security on technical roadmaps
Requirements: Seven-plus years building and scaling production backend systems
Two-plus years in technical lead, staff, principal, or equivalent roles
Expertise in REST APIs, FastAPI or .NET C#, and distributed systems
Production experience with agent frameworks, tool calling, and workflows
Production RAG experience with measurable latency and quality KPIs
Shape reliable AI platforms through backend architecture, agent orchestration, retrieval systems, and technical leadership at Network Solutions.
