As a Pipe Combo Welder, you will lay out, align, and weld fabricated, cast, and forged components. Work from blueprints, sketches, and specifications while assembling structural forms, pipe, tanks, pressure vessels, and other equipment. Your work supports industrial construction and maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities: Install, modify, and repair pipe, boilers, towers, and exchangers
Repair furnaces, drums, and related industrial equipment
Set up welding equipment for pipe, plate, or structural steel
Weld using arc, gas-shielded arc, or gas equipment
Assist other mechanics with assigned work
Requirements: Minimum four years industrial construction or maintenance experience
Ability to read blueprints, sketches, and specifications
Experience laying out and aligning welded components
Ability to perform easy piping installations and repairs
Commitment to quality work with reasonable efficiency
