As Principal Android Engineer, you will define long-term technical roadmaps, reusable frameworks, and platform capabilities for large-scale applications. You will partner with product managers, designers, and engineering teams on performance, accessibility, localization, and multi-region delivery. Your work includes Android SDK development, design systems, API integration, and architecture governance.
Key Responsibilities: Define Android platform roadmaps aligned with product strategy
Design scalable architectures, frameworks, and reusable capabilities
Establish standards for APIs and client-service communication




Guide architecture reviews and technical governance processes
Mitigate risks affecting performance and platform maintainability
Requirements: Fifteen-plus years of software engineering experience
Expertise in Android SDK, Kotlin, Java, and Android Studio
Experience with Jetpack Compose, XML Views, and design systems
Knowledge of modularization, dependency injection, and reactive programming
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field
