COBS Bread is seeking a full time Baker in Welland, with baking skills and availability for early morning or overnight shifts. Weekend and statutory holiday work is required.
This Baker position supports bread quality, product range, and timely production for customer demand. You will work with Bakers, the Baking Team Manager, and Production Manager while learning Bowl, Bench, and Ovens responsibilities. Full training is available.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain bread quality and range to COBS Bread standards
Deliver products on time to meet customer demands
Train across Bowl, Bench, and Ovens areas
Assist with stock rotation and bakery team support
Uphold safety standards for staff and customers
Requirements: Previous baking experience preferred, but not essential
Ability to work 30 to 40 hours weekly
Availability for weekends, statutory holidays, and early shifts
Ability to lift 25 kilograms waist high
Own transportation and willingness to complete a talent demonstration
Bring baking experience, reliable availability, and attention to quality to the COBS Bread bakery team in Welland.
