Build backend systems with Java and Spring Boot at Agilno, working hybrid in the Greater Toronto Area or remotely on Pacific Time.
As a Senior Java Developer, you will spend most of your time developing backend architecture and features. You will also use React and TypeScript for complete end-to-end delivery. The application supports web, mobile, Microsoft Office apps, and integration partners.
Key Responsibilities: Design and maintain scalable public and internal REST APIs
Evolve document handling, permissions, notifications, and data synchronization
Integrate AWS-hosted LLMs into intelligent document workflows
Develop React and TypeScript interface components when needed
Test, review, and ship production-ready code through CI/CD pipelines
Requirements: Three or more years of skilled software development experience
Java experience as your primary programming language
Production REST API experience using Spring Boot
Working knowledge of React and TypeScript
MongoDB or equivalent database management experience
Bring Java, Spring Boot, REST API, and full-stack development experience to Agilno’s document-focused software platform.
