This role is the main point of contact in working with our customers and technicians to locate automotive parts they require. What You'll Do
as a Parts Consultant:
* Work with customers in selecting and locating required parts in a friendly, professional and productive manner
* Order parts and provide information including their function, prices, application, and warranty




* Research the availability of parts either within the dealership or from other sources as necessary
* Maintain effective communication with the service and sales departments, keeping them informed of the status of parts on order
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to ensure our employees make customer satisfaction a priority to create customer loyalty and generate referrals
* Perform regular parts inventory counts
* Assist the Parts Department with other duties as required Our Ideal Candidate:
* Previous parts experience in the automotive industry or a related industry is preferred
* Exceptional customer service and verbal communication skills including the ability to listen and use tact, sensitivity, empathy, and professionalism when interacting with customers
* Strong teamwork skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
* Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple demands
* High attention to detail and comfort in using technology for most day-to-day functions
* Ability to perform physical work, which includes repetitive lifting of up to 50lbs
