As a Security Consultant II, you serve as the main contact for security services and guide customers using Akamai security products. You will collaborate across disciplines, partner with sales, and tune solutions around customer use cases. Your work supports web application integration, performance, and security across government sectors.
Key Responsibilities: Understand customer use cases with cross-disciplinary teams
Tune security solutions to meet client needs
Partner with sales to understand business requirements
Contribute to internal projects and delivery best practices




Participate in training improving methodology and service quality
Requirements: Five years of relevant experience and related bachelor’s degree
Ability to obtain and maintain Canadian government clearance
Experience with TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, TLS/SSL, and CDNs
Customer-facing experience in a consultative setting
Knowledge of project management and implementation concepts
Bring web security, customer consulting, and internet protocol expertise to Akamai’s Government Services team supporting agency customers.
