UHN’s Transportation department seeks a Hospital Porter for its Clinical Support operations. You will transport patients for tests and procedures, deliver specimens and supplies, replenish medical materials, and maintain equipment and work areas. The permanent part-time assignment offers up to 24 hours weekly without a regular schedule.
Key Responsibilities: Transport patients throughout the hospital for tests and procedures
Deliver specimens, supplies, instruments, and equipment across hospital locations
Monitor and replenish medical and other department supplies
Clean and set up equipment, rooms, supplies,



and work areas
Perform assigned cross-functional departmental duties as required
Requirements: High school completion or recognized equivalent
Understand verbal work orders and written workplace instructions
Communicate professionally while meeting deadlines and UHN standards
Exercise initiative, judgment, organization, and multitasking ability
Follow confidentiality, infection control, and Body Substance Precautions
Bring courteous patient service, reliable transportation support, and careful supply handling to UHN’s Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.
