Umbrella Property Services is a Living Wage Certified building services company looking for Cleaning Technicians to join a two‑person cleaning crew. The role involves driving a Mercedes Sprinter van and operating advanced Window Cleaning, Pressure Washing, and Gutter Cleaning equipment. Part‑time positions are also available for experienced industry professionals. The company focuses on providing a challenging yet rewarding work experience while maintaining a fun atmosphere.

Position Type: Full Time

Position Start: May 2023

Position Title: Cleaning Technician

Purpose: Deliver outstanding customer service while driving revenue and operating the tools and van safely and legally.

Hours: 7:45 AM – 4:45PM (Monday‑Friday)

Responsibilities

Create a positive working setting for clients and co‑workers

Deliver exceptional to our high‑end clientele

Maintain a safe, organized, well‑branded job site and stay on schedule

Fill out job‑site work orders at the end of each job and perform other light administrative duties

Offer feedback to improve current systems

Key Competencies

Previous team‑building experience or experience working as part of a team

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to withstand physical demands (heavy lifting,



using extension ladders, etc.)

Resiliency to work long hours in the rain and sun

Ability to execute multiple tasks in a fast‑moving environment

Total comfort working at heights and with ladders

Desired Assets

Previous general labour experience (landscaping, construction, etc.)

Previous customer service experience

Previous leadership experience

Involvement in extracurricular activities (sports teams, hiking, mountain climbing, outdoor adventures)

Strong community involvement

Compensation
Base pay: $22‑$27 per hour (DOE) with upselling, efficiency, and review bonuses.

Paid vacation: 2 weeks paid after 3 months probation (4% of gross pay), increasing to 3 weeks after probation (6% of gross pay).

Sick days: 5 available after 3 months probation.

Medical & Dental health benefits: spending account after 3 months probation.

Fun staff events are scheduled regularly.
